Science Olympiad Awards

Massey Hill’s Science Olympiad team is excited to bring great news. Over the weekend our amazing Science Olympiad kids competed at the State Tournament in Raleigh, they brough back 3 top ten medals with them! They all worked together and demonstrated great teamwork efforts to make their accomplishments possible. We had competitors in all 23 events! Our students did a wonderful job at representing Massey Hill and demonstrating the academic diligence and commitment to excellence we strive for. We could not be more proud of these kids. If you see any of them please congratulate them, they deserve it!
Our top ten medals were: 9th Place in Forensics-Naomi Breitenfeld and Bridget Garza; 7th Place in Experimental Design-Shaun Jones, Lorna Martinez-Guzman, and Wesley Happel; and 1st Place in Invasives-Ruthy Vorder-Bruegge and Lilly Howie!!!!!!! We are amazed at the dedication exhibited by all of our students. Congratulations for the efforts from our Olympiad coach, Mrs Bethany Cornelius. Special thanks to Mrs. Russell, Mr. Miller, and Mr. Wilson! Without the tireless efforts of these volunteers, we would not have been nearly this successful. Please thank them all and congratulations to Massey Hill Classical High School Science Olympiad. Great Job!!!!!
