Research Requests
At this time, only research requests submitted by current Cumberland County Schools (CCS) employees will be considered. If you are a CCS employee, please proceed by completing the form below.
Before submitting this form, please review Cumberland County Schools Board Policy 5230. Once you have reviewed the policy, complete the request form in its entirety. Incomplete responses may result in automatic denial of your research request. Please note that submission of this form constitutes a request, not an approval. You will be notified as soon as possible regarding the status of your request.
Be prepared to upload the following documents, as applicable:
A signed copy of your IRB approval
University or Agency Administrator approval
A list of specific survey questions to be used in the research
Incomplete submissions will not be considered by the committee.
Research requests for projects to be conducted during the 2026–2027 school year will not be accepted after the March 19, 2027, committee meeting. This deadline ensures that school personnel can focus on final assessment preparations during the latter part of the academic year.
Tentative research request review dates are as follows:
August 20, 2026
September 21, 2026
October 23, 2026
November 30, 2026
January 29, 2027
February 19, 2027
March 19, 2027
June 16, 2027 (for school year 2027-2028)
To be considered for review, all materials must be submitted at least one week prior to the scheduled meeting date. Please use the 2026–2027 CCS Research Request Form to submit your request.
